Airing the truth

Playing us fools, Allan Jones (2GB broadcaster) in defending his right to air his opinions said "Much of my stuff is opinion. I don't pretend to be a journalist. I don't know what that means anyway - they've got a certificate or something...

if those opinions lack validity or if those opinions are extreme or they are overly provocative people won't listen. I've stood the test of time" (SMH, 28 July 2011).

This time the Australian Communication and Media Authority is investigating complaints of Jones for allegedly stretching the truth a little too far on climate change inaccuracies. According to SMH several climate scientists assert human beings contribute around 28% of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and not the 0.001% Alan Jones opines.
