Northmead First Wave Film Screening

Our major challenge is to stop Australias excessive exports of fossil-fuelled climate change to the world.

Humans can adapt to major challenges by getting together and agreeing to make changes. First we have to get together.

In November 2023, under a "Rising Tide" banner,  thousands of Australians got together, and carried out a 30 hour blockade of Coal Ships at the port of Newcastle.

In 2024,  Rising Tide aims for a blockade event involving tens of thousands of people. More people means a bigger event, a longer blockade, and spreading the messages further.

To help this happen, attend our screening of Rising Tide's film, and hear about this years plans.

Six of us went from ParraCAN last year, some for a day and others for 5 days and we all thought it was excellent. It was really well organised and the vibe was fabulous.

Pease come and bring one or more friends. The room holds up to 100 people so we want at least 50 people there.

Speakers include Rising Tide promoters, and Greens MP Sue Higginson.
