Right now, Adani is pulling out all the tricks to build their huge coal mine in Queensland that will cook the climate and lead to further destruction of the Great Barrier Reef.
Adani’s bid for $1 billion of taxpayer funds has reached it’s final stages - their coal mine is one of only 5 projects left in the running for a slice of the $5 billion available through the government’s Northern Australian Infrastructure Facility.
And just last week Adani launched a multimillion dollar advertising campaign to buy the ear of politicians they need to start construction. Presumably to be paid off from their loan facility.
As Adani ramps up, we must rise to the challenge.
